The purpose of the Igiogbe Information Center is to promote cultural education and understanding that leads to cultural relevance and stable family leadership. The center aims to address prevalent knowledge gaps in cultural practices and provide access to cultural knowledge, including elders, records, works, and publications.

The Igiogbe initiative promotes the unification of cultural identity and faith by acknowledging the role of ancestors, such as Enikaros, in preserving our cultural identity. It helps eliminate the stigma that cultural identity brings in the expression of faith, by emphasizing that our cultural identity needn't hinder our faith in God, this we through through panel discussions, academic researches, documentaries and other media publications, incentives to progressive families, general public orientation.

Family heads play a significant roles in family and community development as they serve as leaders and mediators within the family structure.
